A Miss Bea Sweater
Riding a wave of enthusiasm Sassy conceived
the plan to match photos, knitting patterns,
and stories into picture books for the grand girls.
Well, truth to tell the archiving has fallen on hard times.
The sassy one really didn't do the patterns as written,
used different yarns and memory of needle size is sketchy.
So, to move this project along she thought posting entries
as she goes along might upgrade the process.
The sweater in the photo was inspired by the Louise Harding's
_Miss Bea_ series. The soft-back storybooks had a plot line
such as _Miss Bea's Playtime_. The second portion of the book
documents the patterns modeled by Miss Bea.
Frances was enchanted with these book. It was a win win double
your money situation.
The sweater was made with Elmore Pisgah: Peaches and Creme.
