Wisdom from the Hat Factory

First, I am still smitten

with the Anne with an e hat.

I've made two more hats

and have the third on the needle.

Tip #1:

Buy large needle: 10.5

 

Tip 2:

I find it impossible 

to work with just 4 stitches.

I increase in every stitch twice:

divide 16 stitches on four needles.

Tip 3:

Use 5 needles.

I usually use four 

but for this pattern 

5 works best

Tip 4:

Switch to 16 inch circular #10

when you have arrived at

your desired number of stitches:

56, 64, 72, 80.

I am faithfully working

the pattern down to grand kid size.
