Happiness is...

A couple of weeks ago

I opined that I would

leave a comment on

the Mason-Dixon blog.

Thus, becoming eligible to win

a copy of _wacky baby knits_.

We all know that 

I have long standing

record of not believing

in the luck of the Irish.

But my desire for that book

overcame my reticence.

I chose to believe I could win.

And the morning after the drawing

I raced to the blog...

only to find that the time for

entering was noon on Friday

and guess who left their comment

at 2 o'clock?

You got it.

Sassy Pat was too late.

But the upside and 

there is always an upside, right?

My library ladies- 

my beloved library ladies-

are going to order a copy

for the Mid-Hudson Library System.

And as soon as it is ordered

I can put in a hold...

And, and...

I can knit a tutu.

Happiness is 

a longed for

knitting book.
