Eighty: Eight Decades

When Sassy was a girl back in the day we learned to make an eight by drawing two circles one above the other.

Today Sassy finds it unbelievable the she has lived to see an
eightieth birthday. Sassy was born the week of the hurricane of 1938.

So, as we watch Florence inundate North and South Carolina
Sassy is learning to weave circles using the iPad to track her
progress.

Eighty is the start of a new decade, a time to remember those
who didn't reach this mark and to be grateful for all the people
in your circle. As the old hymn says may the circle be un-
broken.
