Tick Tock

Snow, snow go away and don't come back another day.

Being snow bound does encourage one to take on time consuming projects. The ticking sample warp in the photo was the project of the day.
The warp and sett choices proved worthy: a sturdy fabric of the heft
one would wish for when sewing on handwoven fabric. Now it has
to pass the washing machine and dryer test for shrinkage.

It seems like a good idea to weave a red sample as well. The
red yarn is slightly finer than the white. We shall see what
we shall see using a finer weft.

Tick tock the snow shows no sign of letting up.
