The House of Many Skies
Sassy decided to weave the sky in several bouts.
Warp # 1.
Paton's Grace Cotton Warp.
12 epi
78 thread width
3 yards
Day 1
Used cotton flake (interlock)
Henny Penny the sky is not falling.
Day 2
Created loops using a paint brush handle.
Yellow stripe = sunny day
Day 3
Shiny sky
Peach cotton flake = hint of pink on the horizon
Sassy/ Grandmother Sky Weaver
Day 4
NAMASTE: "Let the light within me salute the light that is within you."
Day 5
A broken thread...
Took out a couple of inches--a lapse of Saori principle--
couldn't allow the color clash.
"... trying to use what I have been given and where I am."
Shawna Le May, "Calm Things blogspot.com"
Day 6
Added pearl cotton yellow for the sunshine on my shoulder.
Day 7
4 by 2 hemstitching.
Gray day.
My predisposition seems to be 50 shades of gray on this warp.
And no, I didn't read the book.
