Hokey Pokey

Do you remember the hokey pokey?

Put your right foot in and shake it all about

and  put your left foot in an shake it

all about...

A little de' ja vu.

First grade teachers have lapses.

So, today I'm teaching my

left hand to purl.  Yes,

that is what I said...

I am teaching my left

hand to purl.

I knit American style

and have deemed it 

necessary

to knit Continental. 

It is easier to follow all

those demonstrations on YouTube.

And I'm having a little fling 

with Fair Isle.

I can report that I've completed

k1, p1 for about four inches.

The tension doesn't match my

accustomed tight circle but

it is pretty okay.

So, I'll hokey pokey along.

Come on over for a play date.
