Summer 2013. Sassy Nana is matching
photos with knitting patterns. Meet FM
at her most adorable. Mom, how old was FM
in this photo? Is she going to Miss Sherry? Younger?

Sassy has five huge plastic bins of knitwear to sort
and two boxes of photos to scan. It will be a brain tease
to reproduce the knitting recipe with Sassy's modifications.

Early projects were all in Red Heart yarn. Not much yarn selection was
available in rural New York. Later Sassy moved on to Caron: Simply Soft.
For years the size 6 needles reigned supreme.

But after the first estimate (it could be) the memory stalls and guess
and by gosh method takes hold.
