Happy 2013

This boa looks like a key.
Today on the first day of the new year it seems like the
appropriate time to unlock one's potential for creativity
in the coming year.

Alas, the flu is making this quest seem implausible.

So, I'm  knitting two needle socks, my feet are cold.

With a new notebook in hand I'm penciling in exciting
choices: this class or that one, this pattern or that one, this
book or several of those and holding faith that in a day or two
the Sassy One's vigor will return and 2013 will truly
arrive on a stronger note.
