A New Beginning
The young students from Newtown, CT will visit Chalk Hill
Middle School in Monroe today and begin classes tomorrow.
Their classrooms have been replicated down to the crayons
on the desk. Their former principal a 2010 retiree will be there
to greet them.
A bus ride of six miles will take them to their new school.
Comfort dogs will visit. Parents will be welcomed... one
adult per child.
The children of Monroe have made snow flakes to welcome
their peers.
Daughter #2 and grandson #1 made snowflakes. We
hung on the lemon tree in Florida. We remember.
Blessings on your new beginning, little ones.
