I bought a book last night...
nothing new about that you say.
You're right.
The title is _One Year to a Writing Life_.
I really need another how-to writing book.
Right?
Of course, I started it before bed.
It addresses living the creative life...
making life art.
Tiberghien says you journal to know yourself.
And I believe you knit to know yourself.
She has you sketch a Mandala and
create a center and fill it with an
image or images to discern
your feelings, become more aware.
It seems to me that knitting in the round
is another way to create a Mandala.
My obsession with hatbands still reigns.
So, a white wool hat filled my circle:
a band comprised of six rows of stockinette
followed by six rows of k1, pl.
Great edge.
What does that tell you?
I am a minimalist.
I love short term commitment.
Plain vanilla works for me.
I avoid grand sweeping costly projects.
The writing life is composed of 12 parts.
What comprises a knitting life?
Could it be divided into 12 parts?
Are they sequential or independent?
It's a quiz.
What would you say?
