Outsider Art

Here is my plain vanilla hat
knit with Sugar N' Creme cotton
on a size eight needle.

I started at the top with four stitches.
Increased to 16 stitches before switching
to four needles.
Worked increases to 64 stitches.
Knitted 4.5 inches of stockinette
and then 3 inches of k 4, p2.

I like the hatband.

You may have noticed
that I have the best dressed
mixing bowls in the Catskills
atop my paper towel role.

After a trip to the Woodstock galleries
last Saturday I've decided that my hats
should be deemed outsider art.

I plan to do a showing for
Mock Newbery buddies.

I just have to scrounge
around for more mixing bowls.

Come one, come all...
admission your smallest mixing bowl.
