April in Paris

April in Paris...
Well, not quite...
More like April in New York.

But it is lovely just the same.
Florida has been drought ridden.
New York has been blessed or cursed
with lots of rain.

The lawns are lush green mats.
The trees twist into sculptures.
The forsythia flourishes... yellow bushes
teasing the color sense.
Home!

It was a two sock trip
and now it is time to knit
on the porch...

Watch the Hudson River's
tides as they emerge from
the early morning mist
or disappears into the
dusk.

A 47th Wedding Anniversary.
We are on the river...
floating to fifty.

Happy Anniversary!
I love how you say it was a "two-sock trip". Said like a true writer Pat!
