Good news!

A young friend is expecting a baby.

Whoopee!

The Rolodex in my head started spinning.

A dress, a hat, a ruffled...

I can hear you now.

Babies come in two sexes.

Boy and girl!

So, before you buy that pink yarn...

just hang on one red hot minute.

I know, I know.

But the new Debbie Bliss Spring/Summer issue

has the most adorable dress... with stripes

and red trim.

And a very worthy red sweater or a sailor vest.

I will keep my options open.

But I can hope for a girl.

V already has a boy.

One of each would be nice...
