Color Me Blue

The photos represent a Rep weave runner still on the loom...
20 inches in. The warp is wound with carpet warp at 24 ends to the
inch. The principle of Rep weave is that the warp will dominate,
thus the setting. Rep weave is very often used for rag rugs at 30 or
40 EPI. The blue warp came from my stash and the white cotton warp
was remainder yarn that belonged to my mother-in-law. She was
learning to weave rag rugs in her later years.  The weft is called
mop cotton and creates a nice density.

It is a fun project on a lazy hazy summer day.
Sassy is back to her fondness for colonial blue and white.
