Winter Solstice

Longest night, shortest day seemed to be the time to light the tree and send out our Christmas blessing. The little ceramic tree belonged to my mother. It was her table tree for all the years of her widowhood... a gift from a good friend.

The lights always remind one of candles, a way to light the way to peace and good will toward men.

So, on December 21, 2016 Sassy will follow the wisdom,
