Vision Quest
Last week Sassy and her daughters and granddaughters set out on a "Vision Quest." The Lakota Sioux call the quest to find a new vision: "Crying for a Dream." We traveled to Skaneateles ( a long arduous journey) to meet the incomparable Saori weaver Karen Pardee (definitely a wise women).
The photo captures three generations weaving a memory together.
Saori emphasizes finding one's creativity in the joy of weaving.
It was a dream come true.
