Hopping Down the Bunny Trail

The nomads are on the road again next week. Sassy and hubby will wrap up the winter with Easter fare and then trek back north.

The Easter bunny emerged from the closet to embrace the Ped sock Sassy is knitting. The pattern is a freebie posted on The Purl Bee-- a favorite blog. Sassy's prototype was  knit with leftover baby weight yarn and size 2 needles. The short cuff and patterned heel show off on this ankle sock.

It's a short term project to pass small wedges of time as a respite from packing and sneezing as Sassy copes with an allergy attack or spring cold.

Happy Easter! Don't eat too many jelly beans.

I love the look of your new sock! Very cute.

We had our Easter dinner yesterday. News to be heard. Son #1 and wife are buying a house. Son #2 and GF are expecting a baby. In between sewing and playing with the embroidery machine I will be knitting for the new baby.

Happy Easter!
