My friend and hair stylist gifted me with her mother's stash of knitting patterns stored in a lovely wooden box. The patterns were handwritten or saved from "Woman's Day" or "Simplicity." I had never realized that "Simplicity" sold knit and crochet patterns. I found lots of treasures and could recall fond memories of knitting or crocheting several patterns. Nostalgia. It was a lovely trip down memory lane.
