Remember when?
Many a year ago in the days of Jiggs and Maggie, when Sassy and husband were young, Sassy was a weaver. She owned three looms and even taught a few folks to weave. But she is a lapsed weaver. Retirement with all that moving about and the need for long swatches of time discourages weaving.
But of late weaving keeps appearing in her foreground. She bought a weaving book and is mulling the idea of doing a little frame weaving... something small, not too time consuming... a toe in the water let's say. Anyway she had to laugh out loud to find that some clever fellow had built a loom out of legos.
She couldn't resist sending along the photo to #1 grandson the grand builder of all things Lego.
Smile with me.

I tried to teach myself to weave but it was too mathematical. I couldn't figure out the calculations for warp and weft. Too confusing. Enjoy your weaving. I'll admire from the internets.
I'm so happy I found your blog Miss Sassy Pat! Somewhere I have some weaving books - I'll look for them for you. I still have my long neglected spinning wheel. It was so nice to see you today! I think that we have a lot more in common than we know!
