A Knitted Grocery Bag
Knit with Sugar and Cream and a size nine needle the pattern requires blocks of garter stitch followed by segments of yarn overs. Knit with wool it would make a lovely cowl. Sassy has yet to reach the finishing stage: pickup 108 stitches and work mitered corners for the bag's base.
Let's hope mitered corners are fashioned as easily as mitered mittens.
A fun project!

I've finally done it! I signed up with our local yarn store for her next session of learn-to-knit. Trouble is they don't begin until January -- but I'll wait.
