A Knitter's Garden
The white wool hat nestled in the garden among
the nasturtium resembles a giant snowball.
The hat served as a vehicle for mastering entreleac:
a juxtaposition of pattern in alternating tiers.
The crown's decreases form leaves and the
garden's tiny flowers create a delicate counterpoint.
A knitter's garden...
a secret garden, a magical garden...
square foot... carefully chosen projects:
hats, mittens, shawls...
An enchanting idea!
