An Anniversary... 11 Years... A time to remember.
Unraveling always come to mind on 9/11.
The fabric of one's faith was unwound.
The circle was broken.
Innocence was comprised.
Taking the photo was problematic.
The background was neutral.
The yarn's hue lightened in the September sun.
The needles stayed willfully apart.
But the knitted stitches promise a new
fabric-- although the unraveled stitches
need to be returned to the circle-- the
yarn has been rewound and the task
has begun.
Once again we will knit ourselves whole.
