"Quite A Year For Plums"

Grace should have a playful pullover.

So, using "Vanna's Choice" and
a # 8 circular needle I've cast on for
a second sweater using the "Playful Pullover"
pattern.

The color named DUSTY PURPLE
is a lovely shade I would call plum.

It brought to mind Bailey White's novel
"Quite A Year For Plums."

Bailey a former first grade teacher and
NPR essayist ranks high on my list of
gifted writers... a humorist blessed
with an extraordinary funny bone.

I plan to listen to her tapes as I
knit through the long stretches.

* EZ = Yoke Measurement

and the neck (exclusive of neck-shaping and border)
is 1/4 of the circumference of the body (stitches)
round upward if it equals an uneven number.

Ah, yes. I was supposed to give you measurements...I know she is only 7 years old, but G. is almost a small woman, or xs. Measurement-wise that is. Wise-guy-wise, too, but that's a story for another time.
For under the arm on down, I would start with 9.5 or 10". See what that gives you.
Also, please chronicle your thoughts as you plan to amend the pattern for boleros. "Show your work" like in math exams. We want to see the trial and error BEFORE you rip out, recalculate, walk the path with you. Can't wait.
