Tea Set

Come in, come in.
The tea pot is on.

Tea is always
the Irish nod
to hospitality.

Tea denotes:
comfort
compassion
celebration

Yesterday I read
that tea also promotes
healing in ailing
houseplants.

Will wonders never cease?

So, I retrieved an article
on "Interweave." Annie
Modessitt designed  a
"Fiesta Tea Set."

Think children's tea set.

Cups and saucers-
2.25 inches in size- knit
in the round
with a sturdy four ply
cotton in shades of green,
blue, pink and yellow
and complimented with
matching sugar bowl
and creamer.

Do not be fooled.
Small project... fast result:
Not so.

This project requires time
and patience and a measure
of skill to work with so few stitches
in the round.

But this fool
isn't above seeking paradise:
a tea party with a knitted tea set.

Would ye like a cup of tea?

Our Grace has decided she's a tea drinker: Lemon Zinger with local honey for her! Magical healing potion for anything that might ail a second grader.
