September Hood
The hood was designed by Mel Clark in her delightful book _ Knitting Everyday Finery_. The paper towel roll was pressed into service in lieu of a lovely granddaughter to model.
The yarn used was Wool Ease worsted weight. The needle size used was six.
Two skeins worked for size large. The hood made Sassy smile. It seemed
to be a sweater for the head.
In retrospect the collar could shortened a little... maybe an inch and
the join at the neckline was awkward. I will have to revisit the join and the
collar length when my models are on site.

Very cute! The grands will love it! It will keep their heads and necks very warm during the winter.
I'm bored with those heart socks I was working on. I may rip them out.
I just wound a skein into a center pull cake today. Lovely thick Aran yarn in a gorgeous blue but I only have one and it's less than 150 yards. Praying I have enough to make a pair of mittens for myself.
