Although Sassy has been limping about and not blogging she has been knitting albeit with much unknitting in the bargain
"Hurricane Hat" was designed by Andrea Goutier. Wool Ease worsted weight and a size six needle were a departure from the original pattern The spiral requires that you move the last stitch in each round to the left... making it the first stitch in the next round. A marker proved to be essential and a fair amount of focus was required... no daydreaming or mountain gazing allowed.
Sassy enjoyed her trek to the high peaks.
