Baby Baby
Sassy is all about default. The baby sweater is an adaptation of the
Five Hour Baby Sweater pattern available on the web for free.
The yarn is Bernat baby and the needle is size 8.
As you can see: one sleeve in and one sleeve out.
The plan now is do the sleeves in the round... although
one sleeve was already put in. Time to unravel.
It will be a fussy go to change the sleeves' dimensions.
Therefore, Sassy is knitting a beret with Lionbrand
Wool Ease Thick and Thin to avoid the sleeves.
The pattern is Crazy Aunt Purl's beret. However,
Purl uses a #13 needle which does not give Sassy
the correct gauge. So, the beret is being knit on a # 1l.
Tough sledding. The yarn does not want to run smoothly
around the needle.
Hmm. Let's see... a mitten maybe. No, that's means
a thumb to contend with.
Maybe a break in the sun. What do you think?
