I made similar hats for two of my granddaughters for Christmas. Mine did not turn out as nice as yours. I used acrylic yarn and that stuff is just crap. I only used it because you can machine wash it and that makes it easier on the daughters in law. Next hats will be in wool! I love the grey you chose and how the red stands out. Looks great on your model!
Look for "superwash" on the label for wool they can wash.
