Jigging

Sassy Pat and the knitting needles are 

jigging this morning.

We are off to the White Mountains of New Hampshire 

to celebratea friend's 80th birthday.

Such a lovely way to end

the month of August...

I just bet we'll see

the first leaf turn of the season.

I love September:

the nip in the air,

the fall colors,

all the new yarns and patterns 

to tease a knitter's heart.

 Knit:

 A  bulky sweater, or mittens, or leg warmers, with hat to match...

in  gold, red, blue or, chocolate brown .
Choose chunky or worsted weight--with or without stripes.
I'll let the landscape be my guide.
