A Treasure

I have a wealth 

of knitted garments

piled in a memory box...

lost are the:

patterns,

time and date,

and in many cases even the

names of the recipients.

So, I've decided to

create a gallery

of a favored 

recorded few.

I'll start with

"Miss Frances in Blue."

I was so taken with that

sweater  that I

took a knitting lesson

to learn the intricate yoke 

sequence.

Jame found the shirt

with the perfect collar

and took the photo.

The date was 

2004 or 2005 

Frances still smiles

and has those 

lovely eyes of blue.

And now she is immortalized.
