Mary Had A Little Lamb

Mary had a little lamb,
its fleece as white as snow,
and everywhere that Mary went,
the lamb was sure to go...

Well, this little lamb
is jumping over boxes
and crates and plastic
bags...

And the fleece is not
white as snow but
but properly bagged
in air tight freezer bags.

The yarn, the needles, the markers
are counted and boxed...
on the ready.

Mary and this lamb
love the journey but
dislike the trip.

All those miles to post
between where you are
and where you want to be...

Oh where, oh where,
is my sock pattern book?

See you.

So THAT'S how that poem goes. I was sure it was, "Mary had a little lamb, it fleas just had to go..." :-) Sympathies on your packing, believe me, and wishes for a safe trip. See you in the North Country.

Yay! I like you being closer! Well, I like you ALL the time, but...you know what I mean.
