Mary Frances was my mother-in-law
and the role model for _Sassy Pat Knitting_.
She inspired me with both her knitting
and her journals.
The photo was taken by daughter #1
with her first camera circa 1970.
It is interesting to note that
Frances was approximately the same age
that I am now.
