What does that have to do with knitting?
Nothing!
I'm just a happy camper.
Think of all the books and
yarn I can buy now that I
don't have to support Dr. Hall.
Of course, I love Dr. Hall.
He removed my beastie
wisdom tooth that might
have caused permanent numbing
without a hitch.
But that doesn't mean that
my four cleanings a year
doesn't pay the debt.
So, to celebrate
we went to lunch and
to Barnes & Noble.
Lots of lovely knitting books.
All those color photos...
to die for. But I did
forego.
I bought _Three Cups of Tea_.
Everyone is reading it.
So, I broke my ban on
non-fiction and joined the crowd.
It is about a humanitarian
who builds schools in
Afghanistan. Will report
later.
Then I scanned a memoir
titled _Drunk, Divorced, and
Covered with Cat Hair_.
The author did divorce
recovery by knitting.
Very humorous.
I'm going to buy a
used copy and read her
blog in the meantime.
Call it frugality
in small measure.
I'll spend my savings
on Sassy Stripes yarn
to knit Christmas
socks for Jenn.
Shush! Don't tell.
All in all
a splendid day.

I've had my eye on _Three Cups of Tea_ for over a year now. I love how they do 3 cups of tea before 'doing business' (okay, so that's an over simplification :)).
I can hardly wait to hear your comments on the book.
Your blog entries are often so poetic Pat.
Warmly,
Diane
