Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas

Jenn #2 daughter crocheted the manga doll
in the photo as a Christmas gift.
Don't you just love the hair and the huge eyes?

Jenn learned to crochet at age ten,
crocheted in college, and let her skill lapse
in the intervening years. Seems she
found she still remembers the stitches.

Great job, Jenn!

She is moving on to Star War characters.
Stay tuned.

of full time librarian in Saugerties.

Cape Cope Writers' Essay Contest.

Congratulations ladies!

The rains came to stay
making it a dismal Saturday.

A good knitting day...

Freezing in Florida

All my New York friends are so jealous.
We escaped the north country just in time
to avoid the cold. Wrong!
Florida is cold... 32 degrees as I write.
So, I snared this photo
to remind myself that Florida
will warm up soon. Right?

And in the meantime I am knitting
socks and red cashmere headbands and
anticipating a holly jolly Christmas
without snow.
