_Knitting Through It_ was edited

Her theme is inspiring stories for troubled times.
She did a fine job of interspersing
contemporary stories with oral histories
compiled as part of the WPA Writers' project
in the 1930's.
Following her line of reasoning I went to
the Library of Congress archives to research.
Using "WPA project" and "knitting" to code
my search I've had an enjoyable morning
reading about women and their knitting
during the Depression.
