Red Letter Day

Today is a red letter day.

The postman delivered a skein of "Sweet Love"

100% Merino Wool: Self-Striping Sock Yarn

compliments of KAITY'S HANDMADE.

It exceeded all my expectations, outdid

the lovely photo on Kaity's website.

A work of art...

I might just embrace the skein

and never advance to the knitting stage.

Well, perhaps, after a bit,

I shall find it in my heart

to wind the skein

into a plump colorful ball.

And then knit a pair

of sensational socks.
